This Privacy Policy explains how RepChamp ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use the Fitness Duel: RepChamp mobile application and the website at repchamp.web.app (together, the "Service").
We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and applicable data protection laws.

2. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to:
- The Fitness Duel: RepChamp iOS & Android apps — account creation, workouts, social features, subscriptions, and related backend services
- The repchamp.web.app website — our marketing and legal pages
This policy does not cover third-party services that have their own privacy policies, including Apple, Google, Firebase, and RevenueCat. We describe how we use those services below and link to their policies where relevant.
3. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect only the data needed to operate the Service. The categories below reflect what the app and website actually process.
3.1 Account and authentication data
When you sign in with Google or create an account with an email address and password, we receive:
- A unique account identifier (Firebase user ID)
- Your email address and display name, if provided by your sign-in provider or entered by you
- Authentication tokens required to keep you signed in securely
We do not receive or store your Google password.
3.2 Profile and onboarding data
When you complete onboarding or edit your profile, we collect:
- Username and display name (visible to other users)
- Weekly training goal (days per week)
- Profile photo or avatar, if you choose to upload or select one
3.3 Workout and fitness activity data
When you train, duel, or progress in the app, we store:
- Exercise type (e.g. push-ups, squats)
- Rep counts, personal records, daily totals, and lifetime totals
- Streaks, XP, level, badges, and roadmap progress
- Duel results, opponent usernames, scores, and match history
- Leaderboard rankings (all-time and periodic)
- Daily step count, only if you allow physical-activity access. It stays on your device unless you choose to share it with your partner
Important: Your camera video is processed entirely on your device using AI pose estimation to count reps. Raw video frames and body pose data are not uploaded, recorded, or stored on our servers. Only the resulting rep counts and related workout statistics are synced.
3.4 Social and multiplayer data
If you use friends, couple mode, or live duels, we process:
- Your friend list and block list (including usernames)
- Couple records shared with your partner (combined reps, streak, and any water, step, or routine totals you choose to share)
- Reports you file about another user
- Real-time rep counts and duel state shared with opponents during live matches
- Online presence status during multiplayer sessions
3.5 Subscription and payment data
RepChamp Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple and Google. We use RevenueCat to verify your subscription status and link it to your account.
3.6 Analytics and diagnostics
We use PostHog (US region) for product analytics: which screens are opened, which workouts are finished, and whether onboarding is completed. Each event carries your account identifier (your Firebase user ID) and basic details such as the exercise or rep count. It does not carry your name, email address, or photo. You can turn analytics off at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy → Share usage analytics; once it is off, no further events are sent and any waiting to be sent are discarded.
We use Sentry to receive crash reports and error diagnostics so we can fix bugs. A report contains the error, your device model and operating system version, and your account identifier. These services process data for us and are not used for advertising, and we do not sell your data.
When you delete your account, your profile and linked records are erased. Analytics and crash events keep only the account identifier, which no longer maps to any person once your account is gone.
3.7 Approximate location (optional)
If you turn on Real weather for the home-screen widget, the app reads your device's approximate location, rounds it to about 10 km, and sends only those rounded coordinates to Open-Meteo to get current conditions. Precise location is never requested. The coordinates are not stored in your account or sent to our servers. You can turn this off at any time in the widget settings or revoke the permission in your device settings.
3.8 Data Deletion and Account Removal
You can request complete deletion of your account and personal data at any time directly in the app under Profile → Settings → Delete Account or by emailing arafathossain455@gmail.com.
4. Eligibility and Children
RepChamp is for people aged 16 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at the email address below and we will delete it.
